In these two clips from WeReallyWantToWinButWeDontWantToTryTooHard and Beside Ourselves we can see examples of how the choices that performers make define who and how they are. Performers are offered radical choices as to what they must do and/or how they must respond. We can see here that there is not necessarily a right or wrong way to respond or act, but they must feel, choose and act. CJ talks about how this, in turn, raises the issue of ownership for performers.
